The Crew
Richard & Pam Davis
Founders, Twin Willows Ranch & Whistling Springs Brewing Co.Richard and Pam Davis have been entrepreneurs since their early 20s. In the early '90s, they moved from California to Southwest Missouri to pursue their dream of raising a family and building a life on the land. After more than 20 years owning a successful plumbing company in Northwest Arkansas, they founded Whistling Springs Brewing Co. while continuing to grow Twin Willows Ranch. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Richard and Pam have built their life around family, hard work, hospitality, horses, and creating something lasting for generations to come.
Summer Myers
Owner & Head Trainer, Twin Willows StablesSummer has been part of Twin Willows since her parents bought the property nearly 30 years ago. She didn't simply grow up here—she helped build it. From childhood days spent picking rocks from pastures to countless nights on foal watch, Summer has watched sketches of barns and arenas become the place her family once imagined.
Horses have never been just a profession for Summer; they are a lifelong passion. Through training, teaching, and mentoring, she has helped generations of young riders discover that same love and become true lifelong equestrians.
Today, perhaps the most meaningful chapter is watching Maverick and Quincy grow up among the same horses, barns, and traditions that shaped her. Alongside her family—and especially her mom—Summer has given Twin Willows much of its warmth, character, and unmistakable feeling of home.
Twin Willows has many moving parts, but Summer has always been one of its hearts.
Steven Myers
Trucking Owner, Brewery Operations ManagerSteven Myers helps lead the next generation of the Twin Willows family of businesses, including Twin Willows Ranch & Stables, Whistling Springs Brewing Co., and Twin Willows Trucking & Logistics. An entrepreneur at heart, Steven is rarely far from a new idea—usually one that creates more work for everyone around him. He takes a hands-on approach to everything from horses and hospitality to brewing and trucking, occasionally requiring supervision when a project gets “a little sketchy.” Above all, Steven believes in family, hard work, and building places people enjoy being. He shares the adventure with his wife, Summer, their two kids, and an unreasonable number of animals.
Maverick Myers
Future Equipment OperatorMaverick Myers is Twin Willows’ resident superhero, equipment operator-in-training, and enthusiastic little helper. When he isn’t channeling Captain America or Spider-Man, you’ll find him riding his horses, inspecting anything with a diesel engine, or enjoying a cold root beer and pepperoni pizza—the inspiration behind our “Mavaroni” pizza. Strong, wild, and equipped with one of the biggest hearts around, Maverick has never met a stranger and is always ready to lend a hand. His future at Twin Willows remains undecided, but one thing is certain: any position requiring vegetables other than green beans is completely off the table.
Quincy Myers
Chief Sass Officer (CSO)Quincy Myers may only be two, but she already knows exactly what she wants—and good luck changing her mind. Twin Willows’ resident fashionista, Quincy loves dresses, Mommy’s makeup, animals of every kind, and especially her pony, Cowboy. Root beer and pizza rank pretty high on her list, too. She may be shy when you first meet her, but give her about 30 minutes and you’ll meet the real Quincy: sweet, sassy, stubborn, and full of personality. She also holds the family record for waking up ridiculously happy and talkative—a trait her brother and mother have made absolutely no attempt to compete with.
Chris Nogy
BrewmasterChris Nogy has been part of the Whistling Springs brewing team since almost the beginning, serving as Brewmaster for the past four years and bringing homebrewing experience that dates back to the early ’90s. With a brilliant mind and a MacGyver-like ability to fix just about anything, Chris even built our first pizza oven. He’s always willing to lend a hand, solve a problem, or figure out how to make something work. Away from the brewery, you’ll find him working on his son’s old Mustang or spending time with his kids. Simply put, Whistling Springs wouldn’t be where it is today without his passion.
Kelli Brennand
Head Lesson Instructor, Trail Guide & Assistant TrainerKelli Brennand came to Twin Willows for a trail ride with her family at 17 and, well… she’s still here. Since then, she’s become our riding instructor, horse trainer, trail guide, occasional bartender, project helper, farrier, and whatever-else-we-talk-her-into-doing specialist. She even added a crown to the résumé as Miss Rodeo Fort Smith 2022. Somewhere between the horses and chaos, she became family too. Maverick and Quincy have known her from the beginning simply as Auntie KK—and KK she’ll always be. She even took home Wren, a pup from our Border Collies. When she gets time off, you’ll probably still find her here riding her own horses.
Sierra Meador
Social Media Specialist & BartenderSierra came to Whistling Springs to bartend, but around here job descriptions have a way of becoming suggestions. Since then, she’s found herself prepping pizzas, learning the pizza oven, making margaritas and lemonade when Steven is running behind, coordinating our live music, and keeping up with social media for both the brewery and stables. If there’s a busy night or something that needs figuring out, Sierra is usually somewhere in the middle of it. When she’s not helping keep the Twin Willows chaos moving, she’s busy with her husband and their five-year-old.
Amber Snider
BartenderAmber first came to Whistling Springs as a customer back when the brewery was small enough that we knew just about everyone who walked through the door. Somewhere along the way, she made the jump to the other side of the bar and has been part of the family ever since. The happy, bubbly one of the bunch, Amber always has a smile, a kind word, and somehow enough cheerfulness to make up for the rest of us. She and Richard quickly bonded over their shared Hoosier roots, and if you’ve spent much time at Whistling Springs, chances are you already know Amber—and she probably knows you, too.
Robb Morgan
Logistics & Trucking Manager, BartenderRobb Morgan started as a neighbor and somehow ended up helping run the trucking and logistics side of Twin Willows alongside Steven. With 18 years in trucking and plenty of experience in food service, he’s uniquely qualified for an office located inside a brewery. Most mornings, his commute consists of hopping in the side-by-side and driving down to work—where, according to their wives, the “trucking office” occasionally resembles more of a frat house. Robb is always willing to jump in wherever needed, from solving trucking problems to helping around the ranch or behind the bar. He and Steven firmly believe in working hard, playing hard, and occasionally convincing everyone they’re working.
Grae Gore
Pizza CookGrae was the first person brave enough to step behind the Whistling Springs pizza oven besides Steven and Chris, and more than three years later, he’s still at it. One of the genuinely nicest guys you’ll ever meet, Grae has become a familiar face in our kitchen and an important part of the Whistling Springs family. More importantly, he still holds the brewery record for the most pizzas cooked in a single day without messing one up—a record we’re pretty sure he’d like everyone else to stop trying to break. When the pizza oven is packed and the tickets keep coming, Grae is exactly who you want standing behind it.
Dana
Pizza PrepDana is one of the hardest-working people you’ll find at Whistling Springs and a big part of what keeps our weekends running smoothly. Every Friday, she’s here making sure the taproom is clean, ingredients are cut, pizzas are prepped, and everything is ready before the doors get busy. She’s dependable, never complains, and quietly gets the job done without looking for recognition—which is exactly why she deserves some. Away from work, Dana has a big heart for her animals. She may prefer staying out of the spotlight, but behind the scenes, she’s an important part of the Whistling Springs team.
Ida Hutcheson
Pizza PrepIda has known the Davis family for more than 15 years as a neighbor, so Twin Willows was familiar territory long before she joined the Whistling Springs crew. You may not see her out in the taproom very often, but there’s a good chance you’ve enjoyed her work—she’s usually tucked away in the kitchen and is one of the reasons your pizza tastes so darn good. Dependable, hardworking, and always willing to get things done, Ida is an important part of our weekends. When she isn’t at the ranch or her other job, you’ll find her spending time with her kids and grandkids—or with her beloved dog, Walter.
Willow Beeson
Pizza PrepWith a name like Willow, we’re pretty sure this one was meant to be. Ida’s niece and the newest addition to the Twin Willows and Whistling Springs crew, Willow has quickly become someone we know we can count on. She spends most of her time behind the scenes in pizza prep, helping make sure everything is ready before the weekend rush begins. She may be one of the quieter members of our occasionally-not-so-quiet crew, but she shows up, works hard, and gets the job done—something we value tremendously around here. When she’s not keeping us prepared, Willow stays plenty busy raising her two kids.
Jason Thompson
Ranch Operations SpecialistJason is Twin Willows’ resident everything guy. Stalls need cleaned? He’s got it. Animals need fed or watered? He’s already on it. Something needs fixed, moved, built, or an extra set of hands? Just ask Jason. Quiet at first but armed with a sneaky sense of humor, he’s one of those people you quickly learn you can depend on. Perhaps his most important responsibility, however, is accompanying Steven whenever the words “this might be a little sketchy” enter the conversation. Whether he realizes it or not, Jason has become part ranch hand, part problem solver, and part unofficial safety department—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Tessa Bell
Trail Guide & Assistant TrainerTessa has been around Twin Willows for so many years that we’ve had the privilege of watching her grow up right alongside the ranch. Her love for horses has grown with her, and today she puts that passion to work as one of our trail guides and assistant horse trainers. Whether she’s helping with a horse, leading guests down the trail, or jumping into whatever project happens to need another set of hands, Tessa is always willing to help. Hardworking, dependable, and happiest around horses, she’s gone from one of the young faces around the barn to an important part of the Twin Willows team—and we’re pretty proud of that.
Todd Kelly
Truck DriverTodd is one of the originals at Twin Willows Trucking, joining the team as one of our first drivers in 2023. With nearly 20 years behind the wheel and trucking running in the family, Todd is about as old-school as they come. If he says a load is going to be there, you can count on it being there—and probably before you have to ask. Dependable, hardworking, and no stranger to long days on the road, Todd represents exactly what we want our trucking company to stand for. When he finally parks the truck, he heads home to Oklahoma to his wife, four kids, and their ranch.
Josh Richards
Pizza CookJosh and his family were Whistling Springs regulars long before he ever worked here. About a year ago, we became his first job, and he’s been learning the ropes ever since—from customer service to surviving long shifts in front of a very hot pizza oven. Along the way, Josh has developed a real talent for putting the perfect finishing touch on a pizza or one of our cookie skillets. When he’s not behind the oven, get him talking about cars and you’ll quickly discover he has an impressive amount of automotive knowledge. We’ve enjoyed watching a familiar face grow into a dependable part of our crew.
BT Davis
Pizza CookBT is one of the newest members of the Twin Willows and Whistling Springs crew, but it didn’t take him long to fit right in. He first came to the ranch with his family after his sister started taking riding lessons and quickly fell in love with the place. Eventually, that turned into his first real job—and we’re pretty glad it did. Polite, dependable, and about as hard a worker as you could ask for, BT is a go-getter who isn’t afraid to jump in and learn. When he’s not cooking pizzas, you’ll usually find him playing video games, wrestling, or right back here at the ranch riding horses. Apparently, we just can’t get rid of him—and that’s perfectly fine with us.
